Who we are
Since 1966 we have organized horse clubs and individual horse people in RI and bordering states into a single body. This creating co-operate thought and action towards establishing and maintaining suitable control of bridle trails, horse and equine activities.
What we have done
The RIFRC has accomplish a lot since 1966. We own the RI Bicentennial Conestoga Wagon that is currently home at Clouds Hill Farm. We have lobbied for legislation, supported 4H, are an active member of RI Trails Advisory Committee, member of RI Farm Bureau, maintained Reynolds Horseman's area (rebuilt the riding ring, built a handicap ramp, built a pavilion, rebuilt the main fireplace, adopted the graveyard in the big field, installed benches around ring, and more!), In 1991 we held the 1st ever RI Equine Affair. We have worked with the Coventry Greenway and North/South Trails Greenways Alliance. We have our Annual Horseman's Bazaar, Annual Blessing of the Horses, and so much more!
